Services & Supports

The training programs offered by Nalanda have been specially designed keeping in mind the training needs and competence of local participants as well as the availability of local resource. Training is perceived as an educational process that stimulates the thought processes of the participants. Concrete efforts have been taken towards increasing the competence levels in terms of their knowledge and attitude, as well as sensitivity towards children of disadvantaged groups. Participatory techniques such as games and activities are incorporated taking into account the socio-cultural background of the teachers so that they can relate to the training more intensively. All the trainings are highly process-oriented.
