INTEGRATING TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION (ITE)
ITE is one of the innovative interventions launched by Nalanda in the year 2014. This programhas been another ground breaking program, aiming to address the rural urban digital divide,improve the quality of learning by integrating learning process with technology and generallyimproving the sphere of knowledge of the children. More importantly, this was implemented notjust in a rural set up but in Madarsas in Uttar Pradesh, something that added to the uniqueness ofthe initiative. The intervention was conceptualized on the understanding that technology, ifintegrated with curriculum and pedagogy, can give growing children the much needed learninglift and propel them to a higher level of learning.Nalanda is implementing 10 such ITE centers in 3 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
